Find Your WHY

Today we’re discussing finding your “why.” You know… your

W H Y

The reason (or reasons) you push through it all.

All the struggles.

All the heartache.

All the pain.

The reason that no matter how tough it gets- you always fight. Because that’s what fighters do right? We fight.

But what, who, why are we fighting?

For me, my ~why~ is starting a family with Hubs. So every time there’s a set back, every time my body betrays me- I continue forward holding on to the vision of our family growing one day. Envisioning little mini roses running around being all wild, mischievous, goofy, n shit. Brings happy tears to my eyes. Believe it or not this thought got me through a lot of my #lemtrada infusions. Especially when my heart started racing and wouldn’t stop. I had to talk myself out of thinking I was having a heart attack, several times. The racing heart came from the steroids, but was worsened by my anxiety. Am I the only one who always thinks they’re dying? Something feels off and for some reason my mind jumps to the worst scenarios.. (insert nervous laughter) but I use special techniques to work through those moments! I will speak on those in a later post!

When things get tough- I remember that tomorrow is a new day.

A new start.

A new opportunity to keep myself on track for my end goal.

I’m constantly repeating to myself, “healthy mama, healthy baby” and that reminds me that I am choosing today, right now, to better myself for the future. For our little ones.

This reminder serves as a reset. A moment for me to pause and remember who the fck I am as well as why the fck I’m fighting! It’s my ~ W H Y ~

I’m sure once the moment comes where we finally grow our family, my “why” will adjust as needed. But until then, this reason is propelling my fight.

It’s important to add that ~whys~ can be extremely intimate so don’t feel the need to share a why in the comments (unless you want to! It’s a safe space here) but my call to action for you is to pause for a moment and think of your why - go ahead pause + hold the image of your why in your minds eye

Whatever, whoever, organically came to your mind as your “why” is your reason for fighting. Flow with that! Let that sit with you. Usually thinking of my why puts this huge, cheek to cheek, smile on my face! I just can’t hide the happiness, peace, and purpose it brings me. So I hope you’ve found your why or at least given more thought to it! And if your why hasn’t popped into your head like some big AHA moment, don’t worry! It’ll come. Just keep pondering it 🧡

We all have something, someone, a goal, a dream that we are fighting for and when we take a second to notice that and appreciate it- well it’s kinda like throwing happy confetti around in our heads! Like a mini party of joy! So keep fighting, and reminding yourself of your reasons to fight!

All my love to you Warriors,

Arose
